CRYSTAL CLEAR VISION
One of the most important things we can get in life is clarity about the path we have chosen to walk on. Many people just wander through life without a mandate; no vision, and no purpose.
As a result of this, they accept the ‘blueprint of happiness’ that has freely been given to us by this world. The one that enslaves you to your need for more. Greed, lust, gluttony, pride.
As it is written, “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” – from the book of Proverbs 29
Do you see what the above scripture says? “He that keepeth the law, happy is he.” The word law refers to the boundaries and regulations set in order by God to create harmony and unity in the world through the law of equality and love.
Having a vision for the future creates hope. Think about the people who are living in a state of despair, those living with mental disorders like clinical depression. They have lost hope and therefore they struggle to stand back up.
WHAT DO YOU WANT?
Jesus looked at the man and asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?”
Jesus called the lame man to get up and walk, and Jesus opened the eyes of the blind man. God knows what we need and what we want, but He wants us to know what we want.
God wants us to have a desire. Desire gives us the needed strength to get up and walk. Desire gives birth to actions that shape us.
Think about what you want from life, then write it down. Research suggests we are more likely to succeed at our goals if we write them down and revisit them as often as needed.
As it is written, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run with it. For the vision is for an appointed time.” – Habakkuk 2:2
We need to keep ourselves accountable for the promises we make when we choose to run after this ‘blueprint of happiness’ that is in our hearts. Whether that vision is from the world or God.
BLUEPRINT OF HAPPINESS
We all know what we like and what we dislike, and our ‘blueprint of happiness’ is something that will change as we journey through life.
All of us do what we do for different reasons, like family, or power, or pleasure. And it doesn’t matter what your goals are if you have clarity about what you want, where you want to be, and who you need to become to get there.
The only thing that matters is that you know yourself, and once you do, go all in and learn to patiently focus every step of the way and trust that you are made for this thing burning in you.
The ‘blueprint of happiness’ given to us by the world can cloud our judgment and turn us into greedy lovers, causing destruction in our lives. This why the Scripture reads, “but he who keeps the law, happy is he.” This Scripture refers to the law of sacrificial love demonstrated by Christ.
As it is written, “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” – John 15:13
When you reach step 3 you will have a deeper understanding of this. But for now, I would like it if you set some time aside to find solitude.
You can go camping if you like. Ask for a time-out. Just escape from the world for a little while, and get back to your roots. Nature is the best place to find clarity and healing for your soul.
A NEW CHALLENGE
Walking into a new chapter will be challenging. The Unknown can be daunting, but there are thousands of people throughout history who took this leap of faith. There are thousands of stories of people who believed in the Unseen and made it seen by not giving up on a dream.
When we are placed under enough pressure, we are forced to #think and find #solutions.
If we are never pushed, never forced to go outside the comfort zone, then we will never discover ourselves. Resistance is the stimulus we need to become stronger and we can only know how strong we are when strong is the only option we have left. We need resistance to grow, transform, and conquer this world.
This means we need stress to grow stronger, but if stress turns into anxiety, then we have a problem. Anxiety is like overtraining, it breaks the entire system down and then weakens you.
Anxiety is to lose control of your mind as fear takes control of you. This is the leading cause of comfort eating, drug abuse, and other escape mechanisms that can cause destruction in the lives of those we are supposed to love.
Being mindful of God will greatly reduce anxiety and these 3 steps will give you the tools to not only manage stress, but also improve your own mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. It’s critical to discipline your mind and do what you know you need to, to go where you need to.
***Make time to silence your mind and think about what the Holy Spirit would say to you.
Don’t doubt what comes. Just listen with an open heart and then meditate on the words of wisdom and the unconditional love of God.
Once you find that place of harmony (peace), just ask yourself, “Why do I do what I do?”
You need to have a really good reason to do everything you have decided in your heart you were going to do. Taking a leap of faith to transform your life will be challenging.
You must be prepared for a turbulent take off. You are going to be changing a few old habits slowly over time and it all starts with a decision.
NOW LAZER FOCUS
“Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.”– John 13:17
Once you are crystal clear on the path ahead, don’t look back and allow doubt/fear to paralyze you from moving forward each day. Walking away from your old life will not be comfortable, but it will bless you if you just persevere.
Start by creating a solid plan of action, one that allows for mistakes, that is the only way we can learn and mature. Once you have a plan and you are certain it will work, pray to God.
Ask God the Father to bless your journey ahead and guide your steps every day until you reach your destination to glorify Him.
Heartfelt prayer creates faith in the Unseen, and spending time with God creates faith in the things only you see. The things you see in faith becomes real to you as you spend time to build and create that which was once Unseen.
This might not sound all that biblical, but it absolutely is. Faith is an action word and not some make-believe fairy tale story. Having faith in someone is to trust them, follow them, and love them, and so too you need to have faith in something, whether it is God or your job.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.” – Hebrews 11:1
Noah was chosen by God to build an Ark. People laughed at Noah, they mocked Noah, and called him a drunk. Yet, Noah believed God, and Noah kept building the Ark with the hate. Finishing the Ark took many years, but once it was done, the doors were shut and the flood rains came. Noah was right all along. God is.
Living in faith is to become like a child again, a child who dreams big. Many of us have lost faith in ourselves and in the Unseen possibility that is found in God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus Christ – Unconditional Loves Sacrifice.
As It is written, “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20
We have lost faith because we have forgotten who we are and who God is. It is the revelation of the knowledge of God that transforms the heart and mind and therefore “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” – Romans 10:17
It’s time for a new chapter. It’s time for a new challenge. It’s time for new seeds to be planted, that, with enough care, will sprout and bloom, giving you a beautiful harvest for your efforts.
Remember the Word, “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, whatever a man sows he shall also reap.” – Galatians 6:7
The next chapter will be full of new challenges, subtle distractions, and tempting temptations. Going upstream will never feel comfortable, but that is exactly what you are supposed to feel. You are going to break free from old habits and ways of thinking and change your life forever.
“Be transformed by renewing your mind.”
I would like to leave you with some advice: Be an Alpha. Do whatever you need to do to bring your ‘A-Game’ every single day. Get so focused on what you are doing that there will be no room to look back, no room to compare yourself, no room for doubt, and no room for fear to keep you from taking the next step to your vision. Whether you are stepping into the gym, a boardroom, or a marriage, take that step with confidence and accept the outcome of your decisions (actions/choices/mistakes/victories).
P.S. Be the Blessing.
Always remember, you reap what you sow.
